Spain has so much more to offer than sun, sea and sand. Walking the Lighthouse Way is the perfect way to experience Spain with a difference. This stunning coastal route takers walkers along the Atlantic Coast to the rugged Beauty of the Costa da Morte in the autonomous region of Galicia in Northern Spain. An area bursting with cultural and visual splendour with a rich heritage to be discovered, not to mention some outstanding seafood to be sampled along the way.

Spectacular ocean views, pristine sandy beaches and impressive cliffs await walkers on this trail. The trail gets its name from the abundance of lighthouses scattered in capes and headlands across the region. Although I did say that Spain was more than beaches, this spectacular route does visit quite a lot of them, with the 30km stretch from Camariñas to Muxía taking in a whopping 11 beaches in one day!
