Tour du Mont Blanc: The Classic Trek
Tour du Mont Blanc is one of Europe’s classic long distance hiking trails. This spectacular trail in the Alps takes hikers around the Massif of Mont Blanc, country hopping from France to Italy and Switzerland before hiking back to France. Tour du Mont Blanc is a challenging trek as you have 10kms of ascent and descent but the superb mountain views are well worth the effort.
Our Tour du Mont Blanc classic itinerary can be hiked in 7 days and you’ll be staying in traditional alpine mountain refuges some of the days. You will be hiking from Les Contamines in the Montjoie Valley (France) then heading to Courmayeur (Italy), Champex (Switzerland) and finishing in Chamonix (France). Along the way, the hiking trail takes you through seven magnificent valleys by the mighty Mont Blanc, ‘The White Mountain’.
