Quaint fishing towns in dazzling white, turquoise waters, hidden rocky coves, vineyard tracks with wonderful ocean views… our walking Catalonia tour has a distinctive Mediterranean feel. You will walk from seaside town to seaside town, along the coast and taking in spectacular views of the Vermilion Coast (Cote Vermeille in Southern France) and the Costa Brava in Northern Catalonia, where the foothills of the Pyrenees meet the Mediterranean Sea.
After each day’s hike on our walking Catalonia tour you will be staying in lively harbour towns, such as Collioure (birthplace of Fauvism painting), Banyuls, Port de la Selva and Port Creus; where you can go for a well-deserved refreshing swim. Discover the unique history, culture and traditions of Catalonia; and feel inspired by the upbeat colours of this region, once the Summer home of world-famous surrealist painter Salvador Dalí. His former house in Cadaques is today open to visitors.
